Regency Corset 1800-1820

This corset was built using "The Mantua Makers" Pattern as found in our pattern section. You can see more photos in the "Period Costume" section.

This is not a waist cinching style, it keeps the body in a cylindrical shape, pushing the breasts upward. The shoulder straps fit wide on the shoulders to allow for the bare shoulder fashions of the time. This example has minimal boning and a laced hip gusset. We trimmed it in black just... Because.
